As members will notice this site was attacked by a spammer.
Our first action was to prevent the poster from starting more threads.
We are now working at closing the threads started by the user, and eliminating the content.
At the moment, the first page of Just Found Out and General are full of these useless and tasteless threads. We ask posters to be active at going to page 2 and even further, and to comment on threads that are relevant and should be getting attention. That should escalate them to the first page.

With AI agents, I suspect this kind of attack is only going to get worse. The solution? An AI agent of your own watching for such thread bombs, and eliminating them. No, I don’t sell them lol, but I’m in that world….

SI was attacked by quite an industrious SPAMER who managed to post 77 threads in about 12 minutes before being stopped. Due to the quantity his gibberish pushed threads down to page 2 and beyond.
We have posted a bump on many threads that were active and/or on page 1 before this attack, getting them back on page 1 and pushing the spam posts down the list.
If you think some post deserves or should be on page 1, then please check pages 2 and beyond, and bump them back to the top.
